Dispute Resolution Center Seeks Workshop Proposals

The Dispute Resolution Center (DRC) is currently accepting proposals for mediation and parenting coordination workshops for its upcoming 32nd conference, Strategies and Solutions, which will be held online on August 1, 2025. Those interested in presenting a workshop at the conference should visit the Call for Proposals page and submit their workshop ideas by March 7, 2025.

The DRC facilitates this conference to benefit alternative dispute resolution professionals, judges, lawyers, and all stakeholders in the alternative dispute resolution community. The conference is designed to provide necessary training while conserving resources by utilizing virtual training tools and coinciding with the two-year continuing education cycle for mediators and parenting coordinators. Registration for the conference will begin in June 2025.

Participants who attend the conference live will be eligible for up to 6.3 hours of continuing education, with 1.2 hours of mediator ethics for certified mediators and qualified parenting coordinators. Attendees will also be able to view all conference recordings for 60 days after the live conference and will be eligible for additional hours of continuing education.

For additional information about the conference and other current projects of the DRC, please visit the Florida Courts website.
